A photometric study of eclipsing binary V351 Pegasi Photoelectric BVR light curves of the recently discovered eclipsingbinary V351 Peg were studied for the firsttime to derive the physical parameters of the system. The light curveswere obtained at the TUBITAK National Observatory (TUG) duringthree nights in August 2003. The solutions made by usingDjurašević's inverse-problem method describe theV351 Peg system as an overcontactconfiguration (fover 21%) with a very small temperaturedifference between the components (ΔT =Th‑Tc 21 K). Having in mind largedifference in their masses, this suggests a good thermal contact betweenthe components, i.e. a significant energy transfer from the more massiveprimary onto the less massive secondary. The bright area on the lessmassive star, near the neck region of the common envelope, can be takenas a consequence of this energy exchange between the components. Rochemodel with this bright active region on the less massive starsuccessfully fits the observations. The relatively small amplitude oflight curves arises from partial eclipse caused by the low orbitalinclination (i 63°). The stellar temperatures (Th 7580 K and Tc 7560 K) and the estimated values ofthe gravity-darkening exponents (βh 0.20 andβc 0.18) indicate that there is a mixture ofradiative and convective transport of energy.
| Vitesses radiales. Catalogue WEB: Wilson Evans Batten. Subtittle: Radial velocities: The Wilson-Evans-Batten catalogue. We give a common version of the two catalogues of Mean Radial Velocitiesby Wilson (1963) and Evans (1978) to which we have added the catalogueof spectroscopic binary systems (Batten et al. 1989). For each star, when possible, we give: 1) an acronym to enter SIMBAD (Set ofIdentifications Measurements and Bibliography for Astronomical Data) ofthe CDS (Centre de Donnees Astronomiques de Strasbourg). 2) the numberHIC of the HIPPARCOS catalogue (Turon 1992). 3) the CCDM number(Catalogue des Composantes des etoiles Doubles et Multiples) byDommanget & Nys (1994). For the cluster stars, a precise study hasbeen done, on the identificator numbers. Numerous remarks point out theproblems we have had to deal with.
