Two-colour photometry for 9473 components of close Hipparcos double and multiple stars
Using observations obtained with the Tycho instrument of the ESAHipparcos satellite, a two-colour photometry is produced for componentsof more than 7 000 Hipparcos double and multiple stars with angularseparations 0.1 to 2.5 arcsec. We publish 9473 components of 5173systems with separations above 0.3 arcsec. The majority of them did nothave Tycho photometry in the Hipparcos catalogue. The magnitudes arederived in the Tycho B_T and V_T passbands, similar to the Johnsonpassbands. Photometrically resolved components of the binaries withstatistically significant trigonometric parallaxes can be put on an HRdiagram, the majority of them for the first time. Based on observationsmade with the ESA Hipparcos satellite.

An astrometric catalogue for the area of Coma Berenices
A catalogue of stellar positions and proper motions down to the 14thphotographic magnitude in the area of the open cluster in Coma Berenicesis compiled from data of 12 different sources. The accuracy of theproper motion data is comparable to that of the Hipparcos Catalogue. The study reports visual and photographic measures listed for 1150 pairsobtained in the time frame 1989.91-1992.15, including 221 new doublestars. Magnitudes were estimated for a part of the objects, especiallythe fainter ones. Plate orientations were calculated from field stars ofknown positions and were precessed to the epoch; numbers of nights andof measured exposures are given. Reobservation of faint, neglected pairsreveal many corrections to the data from the old discovery lists.

Binary-star measurements carried out at PIC DU Midi and at Nice
Data on 219 measurements of 103 close binaries observed with the 2mtelescope at Pic du Midi are presented. Also presented are data on 230measurements of 126 binaries observed with the 74 cm refractor of theNice Observatory.

Narrow-band photometry of G and K stars near the North Galactic Pole
Photoelectric narrow-band photometry obtained for 292 late-type starsbrighter than 10 m in the North Galactic Pole area is discussed. The g,n, k, m, f-system of Dickow et al. (1970) is used. The stars were chosenfrom two lists: (1) all stars of spectral type G5 or later in the HenryDraper Catalog (Cannon and Pickering, 1918-1924) within 15 deg of theNorth Galactic Pole, together with a few BD stars; and (2) all starsclassified as K or M giants and in Upgren's 25-31 deg zones (Upgren,1962). For most of the stars, estimates of the following quantities arederived: V-magnitude, R-I color, metal abundance, MV, and theduplicity parameter res(k).

Measurements of binary stars made at Nice
Results are presented for 753 measurements of 267 binary stars that weremade with the 50- and 74-cm refractors at Nice Observatory. Coordinatesfor the equinox of 1950 are provided, along with apparent magnitudes,spectral types, and probable periods. It is noted that three-quarters ofthese systems are recently discovered close binaries.
