Two-colour photometry for 9473 components of close Hipparcos double and multiple stars Using observations obtained with the Tycho instrument of the ESAHipparcos satellite, a two-colour photometry is produced for componentsof more than 7 000 Hipparcos double and multiple stars with angularseparations 0.1 to 2.5 arcsec. We publish 9473 components of 5173systems with separations above 0.3 arcsec. The majority of them did nothave Tycho photometry in the Hipparcos catalogue. The magnitudes arederived in the Tycho B_T and V_T passbands, similar to the Johnsonpassbands. Photometrically resolved components of the binaries withstatistically significant trigonometric parallaxes can be put on an HRdiagram, the majority of them for the first time. Based on observationsmade with the ESA Hipparcos satellite.
| Proper motion and photographic photometry of R Leonis Minoris (the maser source IRC+30215). The position, absolute proper motion (Table 3), photograhic photometry(Table 1) of the long period variable R LMi (the maser source IRC+30215)obtained using normal astrograph plates are given in the paper. Theepochs differ by 24.92 years. The r.m.s. errors of the co-ordinates aresigma(RA) = 0.008 s, sigma (Dec) = 0.10", those for proper motions aresigma (mu-RA cos dec) = 0.0073", sigma (mu-dec) = 0.0050". Two stars inthe region of R LMi have been suspected in variability (Table 1).
| New optical positions and proper motions of late type stars associated with SiO masers The 33 cm astrograph of the Bordeaux Observatory has been used to derivewith respect to AGK3 reference stars, accurate positions of late typevariable stars variable stars associated with strong SiO maser emission. It is suggested that selected maser stars can be used to link theHIPPARCOS system and the VLBI extragalactic reference frame. The propermotions of the program (SiO) and reference stars are derived and, forthe program stars, are compared to the McCormick catalog of propermotions.
