uvby FCAPT photometry of the mCP stars HD 32633, θ Aur, 49 Cam, and 3 Hya
Differential Strömgren uvby observations from the Four CollegeAutomated Photoelectric Telescope are presented for the magneticChemically Peculiar (mCP) stars HD 32633, θ Aur, 49 Cam, and 3Hya. We find for over 30 years, these four stars with stable opticalregion light curves have had constant periods of 6.4300, 3.61868,4.28679, and 11.305 days, respectively.

Spectral Classification of Stars in A Supplement to the Bright Star Catalogue
MK spectral types are given for about 584 stars in A Supplement to theBright Star Catalogue. These are compared with Hipparcos parallaxes tocheck the reliability of those classifications. The estimated errors are+/-1.2 subtypes, and 10% of the luminosity classes may be wrong.

Photometry from the HIPPARCOS Catalogue: Constant MCP Stars, Comparison and Check Stars
Photometry from the Hipparcos catalogue is used to verify the constancyof four magnetic CP stars, as well as the comparison and the check starsused for variability studies of normal and chemically peculiar B and Astars with the Four College Automated Photoelectric Telescope;variability in these stars can produce spurious results. A few of thecomparison stars are found to be variable and should be replaced forfuture differential photometric studies.

Stromgren UVBY photometry of the magnetic Chemically Peculiar stars HD 32633, 25 Sex, HR 7224, and HD 200311
Differential Stromgren uvby photometric observations from the FourCollege Automated Photoelectric Telescope refine the rotational periodsand define the shapes of the light curves of four magnetic ChemicallyPeculiar stars. HD 32633 (P = 6.43000 d) exhibits an in-phasevariability with asymmetrically shaped light curves. 25 Sex (P = 4.37900d) has a complex variability with the v, b, and y light variabilitycrudely in phase, but quite different from that of u. HR 7224 (P =1.123095 d) shows in-phase variability with two nearly equal secondaryminima. HD 200311 (P = 26.0042 d), which was previous thought to be along period variable, is found to be a modest photometric variable.Tables 2 to 5 only in electronic form at CDS via ftp 130.79.128.5 orhttp://cdsweb.u-strasbg.fr/Abstract.html.

UvbyHbeta_ photometry of main sequence A type stars.
We present Stroemgren uvby and Hbeta_ photometry for a set of575 northern main sequence A type stars, most of them belonging to theHipparcos Input Catalogue, with V from 5mag to 10mag and with knownradial velocities. These observations enlarge the catalogue we began tocompile some years ago to more than 1500 stars. Our catalogue includeskinematic and astrophysical data for each star. Our future goal is toperform an accurate analysis of the kinematical behaviour of these starsin the solar neighbourhood.

MK classification and photometry of stars used for time and latitude observations at Mizusawa and Washington
MK spectral classifications are given for 591 stars which are used fortime and latitude observations at Mizusawa and Washington. Theclassifications in the MK system were made by slit spectrograms ofdispersion 73 A/mm at H-gamma which were taken with the 91 cm reflectorat the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory. Photometric observations in UBV were made with the 1-meter reflector at the Flagstaff Station of U.S.Naval Observatory. The spectrum of HD 139216 was found to show a strongabsorption line of H-beta. The following new Am stars were found:HD9550, 25271, 32784, 57245, 71494, and 219109. The following new Apstars were found: HD6116, 143806, 166894, 185171, and 209260. The threestars, HD80492, 116204, and 211376, were found to show the emission inCaII H and K lines.

Third preliminary catalogue of stars observed with the photoelectric astrolabe of the Beijing Astronomical Observatory.

2000 A UV imaging of a 6 deg diameter field around MU Aurigae
UV imagery of a 6 deg diameter field centered on Mu Aurigae in thegalactic plane was obtained with the SCAP 2000 experiment dedicated toan UV sky survey. Photometric UV magnitudes at 2000 A are given here formore than 500 stars detected in the field. A star-counting method isapplied to give a fine description of the interstellar matterdistribution up to 1000 pc. The mean space density for B8-A3 stars isderived. Stars with an UV excess are detected and spectralreclassification of some single or binary stars is suggested.
